It was all the fun of the fair at the Sister by Sibling spring/summer 2012 presentation at London Fashion Week. Models perched atop merry-go-round horses showed off candy floss fur and pastel-coloured knits featuring sequinned slogans and tatoo-inspired motifs. Leopard-prints came in citrus yellow and aqua on twinsets and cropped jumpers, while preppy striped dresses are bound to be a hit with East London’s style set. Check out the video highlights.

Dame Vivienne Westwood’s spring/summer 2012 Red Label collection was almost a show of two halves: opening with a succession of her signature asymmetric tailoring looks styled in a distinctly tomboy manner, it was all change halfway through when these were followed by a slew of draped jersey dresses and the more structured brocade party frocks we know and love. Jeweller Dominic Jones presented his spring/summer 2012 collection, inspired by ‘Gothic cathedrals, abandoned Soviet sculptures and colour’, at London Fashion Week. Staying true to her minimalist aesthetic, Korean-born Jackie Lee showed a sleek, modernist spring/summer 2012 collection for her J. JS Lee label at London Fashion Week. In carefully-chosen contrasting textures, the monochrome pieces were lifted by splashes of pale coral and royal blue in pared-back shapes and asymmetric lines. Watch the video highlights here.
