Designers and celebs donate fashion to help Wrap Up Against Poverty

Fashionistas can get their hands on designer items owned by stars including Sienna Miller, Helen Mirren and Kimberley Walsh – and all for a good cause. Pieces such as a Louis Vuitton scarf, beautiful Alberta Ferretti and Doma coats and a stunning Alexander McQueen suit will be up for auction to raise funds for charity Elizabeth Finn Care’s Wrap Up Against Poverty campaign.

Wrap Up Against Poverty helps people living below the poverty line who can’t afford the winter clothes necessary to keep them healthy and warm over the cold season. According to Elizabeth Finn Care, there are 13.5 million people in need of the charity’s help in the UK, including 3.8 million children, so fashion fans who bid for items will know they’re helping a great cause as well as giving their designer wardrobe a boost.

Other covetable pieces under the hammer include winter coats from comedy stars Mathew Horne and Ruth Jones, plus exclusive items from Ted Baker and Topshop and a Martina Spetlova shift dress in glamorous gold, so any fashionistas worth their salt should register on www.elizabethfinncare.org.uk/WrapUp before the eBay auction on January 26th.
