True British is an illustrated history of the Temperley London label

Alice Temperley, the creative genius behind London Fashion Week favourite Temperley London, has created a new book celebrating her quintessentially British style.

Coinciding with the label’s tenth anniversary, True British is a beautifully illustrated history of the Temperley London brand and takes a detailed and insightful look at Alice’s design aesthetic and the evolution of her signature style.

Bursting with colour, detail and inspiration, the 272-page hardback tome shares the people, places and things that have influenced Temperley London collections over the past ten years, and perhaps gives an insight as to what the next decade might hold.

Temperley London’s tenth anniversary show, fittingly held at the British Museum during London Fashion Week in September, showcased a spring/summer 2012 collection brimming with luxurious fabrics and exquisite embellishment and went straight to the top of every editor’s wishlist for next season.

True British is published by Rizzoli New York and is now available to buy priced at £40. Alice will be signing copies of the book at the Temperley boutique on the first floor at Harrods from 2pm on Tuesday November 1st.
